Hello parents, as you are aware, our Compulsory and Invitational level athletes compete the weekend directly following Easter and our Pre-1's and 2's compete the weekend following that, and thus, we really need to hold training for them on Easter weekend. We have been forced to cancel a few practices this season, due to inclement weather, so we are trying our best to provide you, our customers, with our best efforts to give the girls the best chance to do well at their upcoming competitions. I realize that the weather is out of our control, but in this case, we do have control and I appreciate you all trying to accommodate your daughters in this instance. As we are quickly closing in on the end of the season, and we know that you all are making your plans for Summer already. We would like to inform you about this Summer's vacation schedule for the athletes in the Competitive program. In the past we have given the girls the first 3 weeks of July off and resumed training on week 4. The coaching staff has found that this extended period of time proves difficult for the girls upon their return. We have found that it can be quite challenging for the girls to return to their top fitness level following 3+ weeks off in a row. As such, this season we have chosen to go with a 2 week break in the beginning of July and a 1 week break in August prior to the resumption of school.
This year's vacation will be as follows: Training will end on June 27th following our year end Showcase and will resume on July 15th. The August one week break will begin on August 26th and the girls will resume training on September 4th. As always, the girls will have the first day of school off in order to get acclimated to their new school routine.
Thanks so much for your attention in this matter. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Coach Craig.
