Girls Recreation Levels 6+                                                                                                                                                                                                     Ages 6-8                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Class Length: 85 Minutes
Pre-requisite: Must have completed CanGym Level 5
Class Size: Maximum 8

This 85 minute class is for girls who have moved through CanGym program and previously completed a minimum of level 5. Gymnastics skills at this level (such as walkovers & handsprings) are complex and require mastery of progressions before the full skill can be attempted safely. For this reason, we shift away from the CanGym levels to an individual goal setting approach. Each gymnast will work with their coaches to identify their gymnastics goals and break it down into smaller progressions. They will work towards their goals, try some new skills and track their achievements while participating in the sport they love!

What to wear: All children must wear suitable gym attire at all times during class; a body suit and/or form fitting shorts or leggings and t-shirt for girls and elastic waist shorts, track pants and t-shirts for boys. No zippers, jeans, ballet skirts or loose fitting clothing are permitted. Long hair must be tied back and no jewellery. Bare feet or leather soled slippers are the only permissible footwear. (Please note: Change rooms and the Coats & Boots Room are NOT supervised during class times. Please do not bring valuables to the gym)
